I know it's not official by the calendar but autumn is my favorite time of year. Excalibur's trying to get into the spirit by tasting hubby's pumpkin beer.

Today I think I'll pull out the fall decorations and tidy up the front porch. I'm thinking some hanging planters would look good. We have such a weird, long narrow porch that is awkward to decorate.

Also on my list is to start pulling together ideas for trunk or treat. We're thinking of decorating the mustang's trunk with the haunted mansion theme for the trunk or treat at the kids school this year and maybe the army trunk or treat function as well. 

Gotta love a creative day with cooler weather.
